US ENTERPRISE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

FocalPoint Education provides K-12 education organization an integrated edtech Platform as a Service featuring several components: an adaptive learning (an AI-enabled “LMS on steroids”), an assessments management system, a data-interoperability analytics solution (integrating with over 45 third party edtech solutions), and a blockchain-enabled credentialing solution. We provide these PaaS resources, in whole or in part, to companies seeking to improve the technical capabilities of their offerings. The value is not only a superior teaching and learning experience, but our solutions collect and analyze data to measure and manage teaching and learning - providing insights to education stakeholders. These solutions are already used by state education agencies in four states, districts in 14 states and in 4 foreign countries.

As a member of our team, you’ll identify, establish, and develop both new and existing business sales relationships with education companies. The successful candidate works remotely from a home office in Zoom meetings, periodic visits to FocalPoint headquarters in Atlanta and travel to national trade shows and events. Sales incentives are focused on new-logos, utilizing “Challenger Customer” methodologies. This position is outcome-based and data-driven. In addition to a base salary, you have the ability to earn significant commissions that are never capped/

Responsibilities

  • Lead prospective customers from qualified Leads through conversion

  • Contact new customers to discuss needs

  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems

  • Answer questions about the products

  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements

  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience with technology/software sales (SaaS, PaaS, etc.)

  • Experience in the multifamily housing industry-a huge plus

US INSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE

As an US Appointment Setter you will provide support to FocalPoint by calling on prospective enterprise accounts and strategic partners to schedule appointments for them to meet with a FocalPoint Sales Representative or executive. Appointment setters will receive lists of potential customers they will be responsible for cold calling. These calls identify decision-makers, determine the overall interest of prospective customers, and assess whether or not they meet FocalPoint’s metrics for Qualified Leads. The role can be performed on a remote basis anywhere in the US, preferably in the Eastern, Central or Mountain time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Make high volume outbound phone calls & emails

  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of FocalPoint solutions to potential enterprise customers & partners

  • Place a minimum number of B2B calls per day to prospective customers and partners

  • Set a minimum number of appointments per week for the Outside Sales Representatives

  • Qualifying prospects to determine if prospects meet minimum business requirements

  • Create an excellent first impression and build quick phone rapport with key individuals as you probe for pain points and growth opportunities.

  • Schedule qualified appointments for Sales Representatives

  • Send emails to the Sales Representative once the appointment has been scheduled

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Prior phone sales, telemarketing, or appointment setting preferred

  • CRM software experience a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities

SQL BI DEVELOPER

Responsibilities

  • Execute MS SQL Server queries for data extraction and reporting, performing data conversions (ETL) from several data sources, develop necessary SQL for loading, updating and maintaining data tables. Also, trouble-shooting data file related issues and quality control

  • Test and verify processes and systems to understand the cause of data issues. Statistically analyze data and interpret findings to identify opportunities for database and product improvements.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation as required pertinent to problems and errors produced by database processes and applications

  • Coordinate various business improvement initiatives by applying excellent analytical and problem resolution skills

  • Retrieve data from various sources and prepares data for analysis, working on data manipulation and extraction using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

  • Develop complex SQL queries against various data and computer sources, including complex Sub queries, correlated queries and nested queries

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for .NET/SQL applications for develop, maintain, test and deliver Full Stack based applications

  • Responsible for implementing .NET architecture and broad range of Microsoft technologies including C#, ASP.NET, Angular, WebAPI, MVC, JS Frameworks, Entity Framework, HTML5, CSS3, JSON

  • Design applications with high-quality, cross-browser compatible, high-performance n-tier .NET web applications with IIS, SQL Server, Transact SQL

  • Implement SOA, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multi-threaded application development

  • Perform programming using C#, object-oriented JavaScript within a JavaScript framework(s)
